Written by Catherine Pickels and illustrated by Chantal Bourgonje the story is told from the dog's perspective - Worzel worries about meeting children even thought he wants to make new friends. The book teaches readers how to make friends with Worzel and other dogs like him, safely.
This is a helpful book for adults wanting to safely and successfully introduce a dog to a child; for those that are conscious of the value of educating children about dogs whether they live with one or not or simply for a lovely bedtime read!
