The needs of rabbits are often overlooked when it comes to companionship - rabbits need to live in at least pairs as part of their welfare needs. Early neutering of both girl and boy rabbits will help with bonding a pair of rabbits, along with following good advice (see below), patience and time to get used to each other.

Preventative care for rabbits is not dissimilar to dogs and cats; e.g. they need veterinary wellness health exams, vaccines and regular weight assessments.
