Vet Paul Freeman focuses on Millennium Referrals

Vet Paul Freeman is stepping down from his role as one of our practice directors at the end of this month. Thankfully he isn’t leaving us but will continue to be heavily involved with the practices referral work. He will be splitting his time between here and Cambridge Vet School where he has been undertaking a residency in neurology. This new arrangement means he can take on the post of clinical neurologist at the vet school and continue to play a key part in our referral provision which he has built up over the last 10 years.

Paul has been with us since 1993 and has been a practice partner then director for the last 18 years. Since that time Paul has practiced as a first opinion and a referral vet, building up the referral arm of the practice. He specialises in orthopaedics and neurology and treats our own clients at this referral level but also patients from other vet practices throughout Essex and Suffolk.

Paul took on the position of a Resident in Neurology at Cambridge Vet School in 1996. Over the last few years he has shared his week between first opinion and referral cases as well as working at the vet school. There are not enough days in the week and Paul has made the difficult decision to step down from the directorship and his first opinion work. He will now concentrate solely on his new post as Clinical Neurologist at the vet school and continue to be heavily involved with Millennium Vets Referrals.

This means he will no longer be consulting, something he will miss greatly and he thanks all his clients for their loyalty over the last 20 years.
