We are taking every precaution to protect the welfare of our staff and clients while still providing veterinary care for your pets. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we are now running a limited service to reduce the number of visitors to our Braintree practice. We regret that our Coggeshall branch is closed until further notice. We have made some changes to our service; these are listed below.
Following the advice of the government and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) we are only seeing pets if they are sick* or in an emergency.
Following the advice of the government and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) we are only seeing pets if they are sick* or in an emergency.
Our veterinary service will run from 8 am-7 pm, 7 days a week. Outside of these times, you will be automatically transferred to Vets Now emergency service in Witham.
The welfare of your pet is important to us and we are still here to help you, if you have any concerns about your pet or wish to discuss any of the points below, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 01376 325511. Our staff will be happy to help and you will still be able to speak to our duty vets and nurses on the phone. We can advise you if you need to attend the practice.
Our advice remains the same: All clients self-isolating because you or a member of your household are or have shown symptoms of Covid-19 virus in the past 14 days; please DO NOT visit the practice. If, your pet requires urgent or emergency veterinary treatment, then call 01376 325511 and our team will formulate the safest plan to treat your pet whilst minimising the exposure to our staff and their families.

- Routine annual and 6-month health examinations
- Repeat prescription medication examinations (unless advised otherwise)
- Routine nurse appointments to include flea and worming administrations, weight clinics, routine nail clipping and socialisation visits
- Routine operations and procedures, which include pre-planned neutering and dental treatment Please ring us for further advice if your pet is currently under treatment* as it is likely we may still need to examine your pet. This includes:
- If your pet is being treated for an ongoing illness or injury and an examination is due
- If your pet has had an operation and is due for a post-op appointment which includes bandage changes, wound checks and stitch removal

Medication and Food orders
Unfortunately, the entire health care industry is under immense pressure and some supplies have been redirected to the NHS. Please show kindness and patience to our staff when requesting your repeat prescription orders. We are working as hard as we can to ensure a smooth supply chain.
- You can request up to 3 months’ supply of your pet’s regular medications, assuming that your vet has approved your request and we have adequate supplies
- Medication can be posted to you and we can advise you of the cost for doing this when you place your order We sincerely wish all of you wellness in this very challenging period for the world and can only assure you we are doing everything possible to ensure the best service and support for you and importantly, your pets during this very difficult time.
