Lindsey Nice MRCVS
BVetMed Cert SAS MRCVS
Director, Veterinary Surgeon, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, Head of Surgery
Experience
I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005, after 9 months in mixed practice, I joined MVP. In 2011, I gained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. I am very fortunate to be able indulge my love of surgery at MVP. I perform a wide range of operations from routine neutering procedures, complex orthopaedic (bone and joint) and soft tissue reconstructive surgeries. I am lucky to have the privilege to care for so many animals, ultimately treating their disease, injury or illness so that when they have recovered, they can continue to live their lives as normally as possible. I was given the position of the practice’s Head of Surgery in 2014, to ensure we always strive to deliver the best possible surgical standard. I became a director in 2015. In 2016 I was approved as a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
Interests
I am a vet because I am a true animal lover. I have been told, on occasion that, I talk more to the animals then people! Currently, I have two loving affectionate Egyptian Mau’s named ‘Diamond’ and ‘Tinkerbell’. I also have two rather beautiful dogs (I am obviously not biased at all). Both crazy border collies, named ‘Gin’ and 'Appletini' who are my travelling companions. They love agility training and completed Ben Nevis in 2024.
Activities
There is nothing I enjoy more than to entertain friends and family with my love of cooking. I have been very fortunate to have travelled to many beautiful countries around the world. I love to explore new places and meet new people. I spend the rest of my free time out walking with Gin and canine agility training, my latest obsession.
