Jess Leeland

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2021 with a BSc (Hons) in Bio-veterinary Sciences and joined Millennium Veterinary Practice as a student nurse in August 2021. Previously, I worked part-time as a veterinary care assistant while studying for my degree. I have also had experience working with a variety of species within a kennels and cattery, a horse sanctuary and a zoo!

I am still learning all areas of nursing but I am really enjoying every aspect of the job. I Have a particular interest in exotic species and would love to go on to further study this in the future. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family and I spend the rest of my free time dog walking and pet sitting for people in my town.
